Rock my last pole dance class on Tuesday.. without all the ridiculous bruises (I would love to be able to wear sheer panty hose and not look like a domestic abuse victim).

Work my way up to my old pull up pr:

9 underhand kipping
5 overhand strict

But since my ass gained 10lbs lol (good thing.. but bad for the pu's) I'm going for 4 and 2 for this week. See how that works out for me.

Work on my push ups... I used to be WAY better at them. And now I just suck. Knee push ups.. wtf is going on haha.

And beat my 500m row time 1:49 on saturday, 1:43 pr.. would love to hit 1:40 or close to my old time. Hopefully no more butt cramps or falling off the seat.

One more, keep up with the Paleo, maybe actually cooking up a recipe or too instead of throwing together things.

5 underhand kipping (my kip is "interrupted" - need to work on that)
3 overhand strict (maybe slight kip there but hey, pretty good)

By the end of the year I would like to have it at 7 and 4

I may or may not have lost 2 lbs Smile so I think that may be helping, although it is doubtful haha.

I sucked at my last class.. oh well, a lot of the other girls did.. the room was sweltering and I kept sliding off the pole, couldn't grip it for the life of me, so all my tricks were shot and confidence kind of fizzled out.. no dice, but really not important lol!

Rowing, haven't pushed it since class, but have been using my C2 at home at a modest 2:10 pace 1000m at a time.

Push ups may or may not be getting better, not sure but I'll keep at those too!

And as for the diet... yea, feeling sick, as I posted on the muscle milk, hgh, protein thread Emily started.. oh what fun.

am up to 6 unassisted pull ups, thanks to the 5lbs of weight loss, had an amazing strength gain which has resulted in 5+lbs of muscle.

hopefully will be able to get to 9 or 10 by the end of the week.

Handstands are coming along, am able to stay off the wall for a bit, the longer the better and would love to be able to have the balance to do them anywhere (makes for cool photo ops apparently).

eating better and feeling great, better than before, my performance seems to be skyrocketing.

Thanks Barb!

Here's the current update.

I am down 5lbs which is excellent for anything bodyweight, i.e. the dreaded pull ups.

Still working on properly kipping and am at 7 currently.

Push ups are still only ok, but slowly getting better.

Have been cooking Paleo meals now, instead of throwing things together.

So far I've made spaghetti (squash) and meatballs, almond pancakes, butternut squash pancakes, butternut squash soup (did this today and it is excellent!). I also make a great turkey burger.

Next on the agenda is spaghetti squash with pesto and chicken, and banana pancakes.

Bad news, I still feel like my pulled quad is goosey, so, I'm giving it a break, sort of. Slowly getting back into leg exercises.. don't want to pull it again.
