goal through 11/29
exercise every day at least 30 min. sounds easy but when I'm home and surrounded by a shit ton of unhealthy food exercising is one of the last things on my mind! =/
so that's my goal for the week. let's see if I can accomplish something.

Re: Sunday Goals
one more goal. 8 minute buns every day. not just for the ghetto booty I'm striving for but also to add some much needed strength to half the lifts we do.

Emily 8 min buns will not do much for your lifts but I know you are gonna do it anyway

Re: Sunday Goals
my goals for the week are to add a few strength wods per week, and not to do them after a regular wod but to actually wake up early and do one all fresh and ready. Also, since this is my Thanksgiving mini break, I want to devote at least 2 hours a day to organic chemistry and actually read a novel or free reading book of choice (for time). Also, i am going to declare thrursday as my day off all zone and paleo regulations. I just dont feel like weighing my pumpkin and apple pie. I wont see you all past wedsday this week so if i dont get a chance to see you i wish you a wonderful thanksgiving and safe travels!

morning wods
Zach, I think all of us will be having a cheat day Thursday. I know my Thursday is going to count for as at least three cheat days.
If you're going to do strength in the morning, you might want to wait at least an hour after you wake up. One of my books cited Stuart McGill saying that just after waking up your spine contains more fluid from lying horizontally all night, and is thus more prone to injury in any exercise involving bending or twisting. Most of the excess fluid supposedly drains off after the first hour, making it safer to lift.
And that, folks, is my good excuse for never showing up to a morning session. Now that I've shared it you can all sleep in just like me.
