I did the first round as rx'd then got fed up with how dumb i felt it was and stopped. i did a bunch of single arm dumb bell thrusters which i liked a lot (21-15-9 w/45 lbs), some heavy shoulder press and some situp/pushup improvement stuff. i thought the pullups were a waste of effort and patience and unless i'm missing the huge advantage that the thruster/pullup combination provides, i just don't see the need for fran 52 ways.

just one of those days where it doesn't come together. at least i'll be rested tomorrow...

Modified a Crossfit Football WOD with Hubie and Steve.

We did 30,60,90,120,90,60,30 yard sprints. 2 rounds for time:

Hubie said we finished in 10:27 or something like that... I'm sure Hubie a.k.a The Iron Lung will post our time.
Fun wod, thought I was going to hyperventilate. Good shit.

max bench press, 75lb (only got up to 70 with zach but did it at school and got to 75)

possible graduation to 1/2"band for pull ups?

Sprints with Chuck and Steve in 30 yard intervals, 30 second rest between sets, and 60 second rest between rounds.
10:27

FYI, it was Steve's 2nd time sprinting since 1978. Training for the unknowable, now that's FN.

15lb thrusters 15, 12, 9... green band assisted pull-ups 30, 24, 18...7:50 (should have gone a little heavier on thrusters, but could barely finish pull ups).
