How to make your own bumper plates

I was looking up wholesale bumper plate manufactures online and i found some places that sell for a dollar a pound, which isnt too bad. But I was wondering if I could go any cheaper, and then i saw this.

I havent actually had the time to make any yet and I am still contemplating just buying 160 lbs worth of bumpers but this looks like a pretty good way to make useful workout equipment. Also they look really badass. Hope its useful to somebody
