I can honestly say that walking into my first day of snatches I was very intimidated but once I got the hang of it I decided that I like this one!
6 sets of 50, then last one got up to 55. =)

I won't see a lot of you till next monday so everyone have an awesome thanksgiving! anyone running the turkey trot?

i got up to 95 pounds with the help of emilys three step progression. The last time i did these i could barely do 45 pounds. Thanks for all the help dave! It was really helpful doing that practice of catching the weight overhead, id recommend it to anyone. Good luck to everyone on this wod and dont be a idiot like myself and carry the weight too far back behind your head. When you dump the weight from there its quite a stretch in the oppisite direction your shoulders naturally move it.

Thursday Wod- 16:40 w/ very small band assisted pullups/15lbs. ball

Not fun when your callous splits during your set of 30 pullups. makes for an aweful finish when no tape would stick to wound and it was split, dangling flesh on handle. Thank you Jordan for suffering through it with me. I owe ya.
